Welcome to the Monterey
Peninsula, Pebble Beach and Carmel!

Pebble Beach is recognized worldwide
as one of the finest settings for golf and recreation. World-class lodging and
other visitor-serving amenities are provided at the
Lodge at Pebble
Beach, The Spanish Bay Resort, and Casa Palmero Spa. Likewise, Pebble Beach
is the location for many world-class homes, as well as more modest homes
located in various neighborhoods of the surrounding Del Monte
Forest.

The spectacular 17 Mile Drive
provides access to one of the most scenic coastlines in the world. For more
information about Pebble Beach, its golf and recreation opportunities, see the
helpful sites listed on My
Local Links Page.

Carmel-By-The-Sea is the home of
approximately 5,000 residents, who are fiercely loyal and proud of their
city. Carmel is a quaint village which contains fairy tale cottages, ocean
vistas, and a wide variety of shops, art galleries, and boutiques. Fine dining
is widely available throughout the city. Carmel Beach lies at the edge of the
village, and offers incredible sunsets, views of many marine mammals,
sculptured cypress groves and great walking territory on its white sandy beach.
Homes vary from tiny cottages to beautiful modern estates, at various price
ranges. For more information about the city, see the helpful sites listed on
My Local Links
Page.

The Monterey Peninsula is one of the most
beautiful areas in the world, and also boasts some fascinating
history.
Monterey was the first capital of
California, until the discovery of gold in the Sierra Nevada hills in 1849
led to the California Gold Rush and the mass exodus of local citizens eastward
to pan for gold! Today, visitors enjoy sport fishing, beach combing, the many
local historical sites, Monterey Bay Aquarium,
Cannery
Row, and many fine restaurants. Various opportunities for homes are spread
throughout the town, and include oceanfront, ocean view, forest views and many
other alternatives, at many price ranges. For more information about the city,
see the helpful sites listed on
My Local Links
Page.

Carmel Valley has been the Monterey
Peninsula's major strong agricultural area for many decades, and now is
increasingly also home to a variety of wineries, hotels, lodges, inns and golf
courses. Several existing, and two new fine golf courses also highlight the
area. The weather is warmer here than in ocean front areas, and the summer fog
burns off early in the day. Homes here are often located on some acreage, many
have gorgeous valley or ocean views, and home prices vary widely. For more
information about Carmel Valley, see the sites on
My Local Links
Page.

Pacific Grove, often referred to by its
residents as "America's Last Home Town", is framed by a gorgeous, rocky
coastline, with streets lined with restored Victorian homes. Small shops occupy
the very "homey" downtown area, where many locals stop by to pick up mail or
chat at the local coffee houses. Pacific Grove is served by many fine
restaurants, and a walk along the ocean front on its Recreation Trail offers
beautiful views of the entire Monterey Bay, the adjacent Coast Range mountains,
crashing surf, marine mammals, a scenic lighthouse and an oceanfront golf
course. Homes vary from very cozy in some neighborhoods near the beach, to
large modern oceanfront or golf course properties. Home prices vary widely. For
more information about Pacific Grove, see the helpful sites listed on
My Local Links
Page.
